Real Simple No Time To Cook? App Reviews

Im really enjoying this app - I was in a dinner rut and this has given me a good amount of inspiration. However, it appears that the ingredients list has some flaws in displaying the correct quantities, specifically those that should be a fraction (e.g. 1/4 cup). These are showing as whole numbers (usually 1) instead, so there are quite a few recipes that appear to call for a cup of oil! Could you please fix.

As with other reviewers, seemed to work fine at first but now shows no recipes, no directions, and crashes every time you go into landscape mode.

I paid for my app and it was working fine until this week when it starts crashing when I click for step by step instructions the app crashed. Love the app before now cant use it

I purchase your app because of the name attached to it. I was extremely disappointed to learn I was wrong. I gave you the benefit of the doubt and I made several attempts to contact Real Simple but they did not reply to my request for information and help with the app. I wish I could get my money back because since day one your app has not lived up to my expectation. I am so disappointed in your product. Expectation: 1. The app would work on more than one device. ( I do not want to take my ipad grocery shopping) 2. No new information appears (receipe/ grocery list) after puchase.

Personally I thought this app would be nice to help plan something to take to work for lunch. Despite the fact that it was a dinner app it did give me a couple ideas but they keep all the good recipes hidden til you pay for the app.

Wont show recipe directions. Always crashes when you try to turn to landscape mode.

I was very excited to purchase the app. Since I love real simple I paid .99 for the first month. Well what a waste. I wanted to look up a recipe that is on real simple website and I cannot find it. When I searched for Slow-cooker Chicken Tikka Masala nothing comes up. So I tried several ways like masala, tikka chicken and even just chicken. I got 157 different recipes but not the one I wanted. Im deleting the app and getting my .99 back. Dont buy it or even waste time downloading

I am filing a complaint formally with bbb and apple had to download so I could use safari correctly because it wouldnt go away

This app is unusable!! It crashes whenever you put it in landscape mode which is necessary to view the recipe steps. I just paid $8 for full access and now it doesnt work at all!

Faulty filter and search features maker this app a dud. Impossible to find dishes. And you have to subscribe to rate the recipes. Disappointing. Also pics dont necessarily match up with the recipes. Cmon guys, matching the pics with the recipes at the very least should be real simple.

I had to reinstall the app in order to get it to work. Now that it is working, I have found that its an extremely convenient app.The recipes are also delicious.

Entered log in info and got stuck between the log in screen and the screen that confirmed I was logged in. There is no way to get to anything else in the app. It is useless now that I paid for it. Yippee.

Just paid for the subscription. Crashed immediately after. What the frick frack? I love this app.

The app is worthless. It says free but it is really a pay only. You get a couple of recipes for free and then you have to pay to get any real content. Its the bait and switch. There are a lot better options on the App Store.

I have the old version on my iPhone and the new version on my iPad. New version is all but useless. The old version is awesome. Not transitioning from the old version - mostly because I cant transfer my favorites to the new version and some of these really are my favorite recipes.

Says it is free but its really not. It gives a few free recipes but even trying to do a search brings up a .99/month or $7.99/year page. Thats irritating...I just wasted time finding out I still need to find a recipe for dinner.

Like another reviewer I paid, 4.99$ for the app a few years ago on my iPad. Now I put it on my iPhone and I cant use or see half the recipes I used to use. I have to pay AGAIN to use them. Come on! Booooo. Dont buy this app its not that good and as you can see .......dishonest.

NO RESULTS on every search I try. Zero. Waste of time. Glad I didnt pay for it.
