I tried subscribing to the monthly subscription on two separate occasions in hopes of unlocking the rest of the recipes. Each time they were happy to take my money but I wasnt given access...

Pointless app waited five minutes for it to load to no avail

You have to pay .99 a month if u want more than 3 recipes!

This app messed up my computer!!

Upon opening this app you quickly learn that it is not free. There are no recipes and for $0.99 per month or $7.99 for the year you can "apparently" unlock over 900 recipes. I dont believe it. Not sure why apps advertise for free when they are not. I have purchased many apps over the years and have no problem at all paying for stuff when I know what Im getting but come on, free really should mean free......

I was extremely disappointed with this app. You only get about 5 recipes and then the rest of them are locked so you have to buy them

Bought the app and there are no ingredients or directions listed of the recipes really would buy the app I want my money back waste of time

I enjoy cooking many different things. I enjoy finding new recipes. This app fails to properly categorize food. Numerous vegetarian dishes contain chicken and salami. This app is a time waster with miscategorized food.

I was excited about a new version coming out, but I have to PAY to use the search option? Either I cant figure this out, or this app is not worth the money. The old app is much better. I was going to refer a friend to this app and was excited to share it, but now I dont think I will. The problem with the old version was that you could not review the recipe. This new version allows for reviews but you have to pay to use the search tool and you have to pay to get the new recipes that are not included in the old version. Sad.

This is a fast and easy way to plan dinner or work with what youve got. Love it.

Limited recipes (30ish?) but you can unlock 900 more! For the low yearly *subscription* price of a recipe book you can buy at a store! I downloaded this app, saw that, and deleted it! It was refreshing to see yet another app that follows the same old recipe (haha) for screwing customers!

I was happy to finally have found a recipe app. Unfortunately they show you only a few recipes and if you want to see more you have to pay. This app would be 5 stars if you wouldnt have to pay for it. Otherwise I like it. I like how you can sort recipes between pasta, vegetarian, etc.

I love Real Simple but they just cant cut you a break. You can only see a very few recipes and then they make you pay to see the rest of them. The fee isnt a lot but youd think that they could just do something nice for people and give you a free recipe app. Its misleading to advertise it for free then give next to nothing unless one pays. I think a totally free app would give people a great introduction to Real Simple. The look is similar to the magazine and might get more people to subscribe to the print and online versions. I will stick to the website. You get tons more there than you do with this poor app.

I love Real Simple magazine. And I love this app. For a busy wife its so convenient to choose a weeks worth of recipes, email the grocery list to myself and be prepared to make healthy meals for my family. Can you fix some features about it: 1. When I look at a recipe and go back to recipe page I have to scroll from the top all over again. It would be nice if it picked up where I left off. 2. Can the new recipes be tagged? 3. Can I have an online subscription also with this app since I paid for it

If you have a digital subscription, there are instructions on the site on accessing the recipes for free (part of digital subscription).

I loaded the app and paid for the recipes. You see the picture, but no recipe. Fix this now please!!!!

Just purchased to get all recipes and all I got were pretty pictures with NO INGREDIENTS or directions! Called their digital help & the digital no help desk gave me Apples help line! Apple was great -- they offered to cancel the purchase and provided a refund.

They have fixed the app. All you need to do is delete and re-install. I had to click "restore purchases" (upper-right corner) to get access to the full app that I had purchased. Hooray!

Worked great at first. Paid and liked he recipes but now every time I go on, I click recipe no ingredients and no instructions. Fix a please. Im starving here.
